MagicOS 10 for Honor smartphones has received a major update: a list of changes and innovations
The update brings a number of AI-powered features, as well as new capabilities for the YOYO virtual assistant.
HONOR has released a major update to its proprietary MagicOS 10 operating system, which includes a number of performance-boosting features. Owners of the brand's flagship smartphones will receive the update first, with other supported models to follow.
MagicOS 10 introduces the "Order Pickup Code" feature. This feature allows the YOYO virtual assistant to automatically recognize delivery codes without the need to tap or swipe. A reminder for order pickup is also included.
YOYO also features a photo-to-document conversion feature powered by AI algorithms, allowing you to turn a newly captured image into a document with just the touch of a button.
The AI-powered calling feature is enhanced with subtitles and a conversation summary feature, allowing Honor smartphone owners to remember key moments of their conversation.
The MagicOS Control Center has been updated to work seamlessly even on the lock screen. Simply put, users no longer need to unlock the device to access certain features, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, flashlight, and more. Simply go to Settings > Notifications & Status Bar and toggle the "Control Center on Lock Screen" toggle.
Speaking of the Magic Capsule feature, it's been updated with a tool called Audio Groove. It automatically recognizes musical rhythms and even displays them at the top of the screen.
In addition, users will be able to use two modes of exchanging notifications between devices: receiving old messages on one device and instantly exchanging new messages between devices.
The update is rolling out gradually, so some users will have to wait until it reaches them.
