Apple has released update 2A73 for AirTag
Apple today released a firmware update for its AirTag tracker. The update build number is 2A73 (2.0.73). Let us remind you that the previous version 2A61 was released back in October.

Apple usually releases update notes for AirTag, but at the moment the document has not yet been updated, and we do not know what changes the new version contains.
As with other AirTag updates, today's update will become available gradually. One percent of users will receive the update today, and then by March 26th that will be 10% of users. By April 2, the update will be available to 25% of users, and by April 9, to everyone.
It is not possible to update the AirTag firmware manually. Updates are installed automatically over the air when connected to the iPhone. To speed up the process, you can place your AirTag close to your iPhone and wait. You can check the current version of the AirTag system through the Locator application.
