JBL unveiled the GO 5 Bluetooth speaker with Harman Acoustics audio system

In the world of audio devices, announcements of new portable speakers have long been commonplace, but the JBL GO 5 managed to surprise even seasoned music lovers. The company decided to unexpectedly update its line of small-format hits and give a new meaning to the speaker. The device combines improved sound, modern wireless technology, and a stylish design, all in a device that fits in the palm of your hand.

JBL unveiled the GO 5 Bluetooth speaker with Harman Acoustics audio system

The GO 5 model differs from its predecessors not only in appearance but also in technology. The speaker boasts 4.8W RMS power, a significant boost for its size: the sound confidently fills small spaces without losing clarity. A frequency range of 100 Hz to 19 kHz and a signal level above 85 dB promise clear and balanced sound, and the acoustics were tuned by Harman Acoustics.

Measuring just 101 x 77.4 x 43 mm and weighing approximately 230 g, the GO 5 is the perfect companion for travel, outdoor recreation, or home use. The GO 5 is IP68-rated, meaning it's completely dustproof and water-resistant.

The next-generation Bluetooth 6.0 supports SBC, AAC, and LC3 codecs. Voice compatibility with Bluetooth's AURACAST feature allows you to stream music to multiple compatible devices simultaneously, while AirTouch technology makes connecting a breeze.

For those who prefer a classic solution, JBL hasn't forgotten about USB-C connectivity. You can connect the speaker directly to a computer or other source, completely bypassing Bluetooth. The built-in DAC chip delivers high-quality, lossless digital audio, while the capacious 1000 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of music playback, and charging via USB-C takes about three hours.

JBL offers six color options (black, red, sky blue, pink, orange, and navy blue). The new JBL looks stylish and modern, perfectly complementing both your interior and your active lifestyle.

The JBL GO 5 is now available for pre-order in China for $58, with availability in other regions expected in the coming weeks. Look forward to seeing it on store shelves.
