Sony has announced the release of a PlayStation-branded monitor. The device is aimed at PS5 console and PC users and will expand the company's gaming portfolio.
The model features a 27-inch IPS panel with a QHD resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. Key features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping for automatic dynamic range adjustment, VRR support, and a retractable charging module for the DualSense controller, highlighting its integration with the PlayStation ecosystem.
The device's design is inspired by the PS5 console, combining a black front panel and stand with a white back panel. Interface options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The model also features built-in speakers and VESA wall mount support.
The PlayStation gaming monitor with DualSense charging dock will go on sale in 2026 in the US and Japan.
