Samsung Unveils Beta Version of Samsung Internet Browser for PC
Samsung Electronics has released a beta version of the Samsung Internet browser for Windows 11 and Windows 10. The main goal of the new product is to create a unified environment between mobile devices and desktop computers.
The browser allows you to sync bookmarks and saved passwords across devices. Secure autofill via Samsung Pass is also available. Cross-platform continuity is also supported, allowing users to resume browsing from the same point on another device after confirming their decision.
The browser is integrated with the Galaxy AI platform. After signing in, AI features like Browsing Assistant, which can instantly translate pages and provide concise summaries, become available.
According to the company, the browser is built on the Galaxy privacy and security principles. It includes intelligent tools to block web trackers, preventing third-party services from collecting personal information. Users also have access to a dashboard that allows them to monitor and manage their security settings in real time.
As Choi Won-Joon, Chief Operating Officer of the Mobile eXperience Division, noted, this release lays the foundation for the transition from a traditional browser to an integrated AI-powered platform that understands user needs and ensures data protection at every level.
The beta version has been available since October 30th for users in the US and South Korea. The company plans to expand its geographic distribution in the future. You can register for the beta on the official Samsung Internet Beta website.
