Samsung Internet Browser for Windows is now available to all users.
The Samsung Internet browser for Windows is now available to users worldwide. Previously, the beta version was limited to residents of South Korea and the United States, but it is now available for free download
The browser is primarily aimed at Galaxy smartphone users who already use the mobile version of Samsung Internet. They can sync bookmarks, passwords, and history, as well as features powered by Galaxy AI, such as quick translation and web page summary.
For those who don't have a Samsung device, the browser may benefit from a built-in ad and tracker blocker, which is prompted to be enabled upon first launch. It also offers the ability to import bookmarks from another browser.
The Samsung Internet interface features a sidebar on the right. You can pin frequently used websites and widgets to it, or quickly access split-screen mode. If needed, you can disable the sidebar in the settings.
The browser runs on the Chromium engine, which provides support for extensions from the Chrome Store, known as "Add-ons." Currently, some extensions may be unstable, as the program is still in beta. However, for general web browsing, the browser demonstrates sufficient speed and stability.
