ChatGPT Releases Windows App
OpenAI has released the ChatGPT app for Windows. It is currently only available as a preview for paid plan users (Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise). The app can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.

According to the OpenAI website , the Windows app allows users to seamlessly integrate ChatGPT into their desktop experience. The app supports quick access to ChatGPT via a companion chat, which can be opened with the Alt + Space keyboard shortcut. In the companion chat, you can ask ChatGPT a question, upload files, generate a new image, or start a new conversation.
Some features are not yet available in this version of the Windows app, including standard and advanced voice features, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive authentication for setting up context connectors, and third-party authentication in the GPT builder. The company plans to add these features in future updates.
It is worth noting that the companion chat keyboard shortcut will not work if it is already in use by another application in Windows. It is not yet possible to customize the companion chat keyboard shortcut.
OpenAI emphasizes that it does not, by default, use content provided by customers to improve model performance. But if a user has explicitly agreed to provide their data, the company will use it to train its models.
