Microsoft Names Professions That Will Be First Replaced by Artificial Intelligence
Microsoft Corporation has found out which professions will change the fastest due to the introduction of generative AI. Those at risk are translators, writers, salespeople, and radio hosts.

Microsoft Corporation has presented the results of a study in which it analyzed 40 professions for their vulnerability to generative artificial intelligence. According to Microsoft Research, the most susceptible to the influence of AI were translators, writers, historians, support staff, stewards, salespeople, CNC developers, telephone operators, ticket service cashiers, as well as radio hosts and DJs.
The study showed that it is in these areas that AI is being most actively implemented, but this does not mean that people are being completely displaced; rather, it is a symbiosis of man and technology, where AI acts as a tool for increasing efficiency.
Experts noted that AI is capable of performing many tasks, including text creation, research and communication, but its ability to completely replace humans in specific operations is still limited.
At the same time, Microsoft identified professions that are the most difficult to automate. These included professions related to physical labor: equipment operators, manual workers, doctors, and massage therapists. Analysts explained this by the fact that AI is not yet able to cope with tasks that require tactile interaction and developed motor skills.
Earlier, Microsoft announced financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, according to which cloud services and artificial intelligence provided the main contribution to growth.
