Infinix unveils flagship NOTE 60 Ultra, designed by Ferrari designers

At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Infinix unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the NOTE 60 Ultra, created in collaboration with the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina. The device stands out with its unique design, without a camera bump, and support for two-way satellite communications.

The key design feature is the complete absence of a camera bump on the rear panel. This is achieved through the use of the so-called Uni-Chassis Cam Module—a single sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus that covers the entire rear panel, including the camera module. This solution creates a smooth, seamless design. The color scheme also references Italian culture and motorsports: Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver. Other design elements include an LED strip on the rear panel, mimicking car taillights, and a hidden notification display.

The device's technical specifications are flagship-level. The smartphone is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 112-degree ultra-wide-angle camera. A key feature is support for two-way satellite communication for calls and messages outside of cellular coverage, which, according to the manufacturer, provides a wider geographical coverage than similar devices.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The display features a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. Stereo speakers tuned by JBL handle the audio.

The 7,000 mAh battery uses silicon-carbon technology and supports 100W wired charging (up to 48 minutes to a full charge) and 50W wireless charging. The manufacturer claims a unique "self-healing" battery technology that restores up to 1% of its capacity every 200 charge cycles. The operating system is Android 16 with XOS 16 on top. The manufacturer guarantees three years of OS updates and five years of security patches.
