Xiaomi presented a large tablet, Redmi Pad Pro, with a Harry Potter version.

Following the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone, Xiaomi introduced the 12.1-inch Redmi Pad Pro tablet. This is a mid-range model with a 12.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 600 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The heart of the device is a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with Adreno 710 graphics. It is complemented by 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of internal UFS 2.2 format. There is support for microSD cards with a capacity of up to 1.5 TB.

The tablet is equipped with two 8 megapixel cameras, an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. There is also support for Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2.

Autonomous operation is ensured by a 10,000 mAh battery that supports power up to 33 W. A corresponding charger is included in the package.

With all this, Redmi Pad Pro has a very thin all-metal body - only 7.52 mm thick. The device weighs 571 grams, which is also not much.

The most affordable version of the tablet costs 1,499 yuan. For an additional fee, the kit can be supplemented with a digital pen with 4096 degrees of pressure sensitivity, as well as a keyboard case.

In addition, the tablet will have a special version for Harry Potter fans - Redmi Pad Pro Harry Potter Edition.

It features a themed design and comes with a couple of signature accessories, including a magic book-themed case and a wand-style stylus. This kit will cost 2,299 yuan (≈29,600 rubles) for the 8/256 GB version.
