Russian Cosmonaut Leaves ISS: Ship Flies to Earth
Konstantin Borisov will land in Florida on Tuesday. The Crew Dragon spacecraft with an international crew, including Russian astronaut Konstantin Borisov, has undocked from the ISS and is flying back to Earth.
The ship undocked at 11:20 a.m. East Coast Time (18:20 Moscow time), NASA reported.
In addition to Borisov, the crew includes American and Japanese astronauts. The entire team plans to land in the Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday (Moscow time).
The main task of Crew Dragon: delivery of astronauts, a number of experiments are also provided. By the way, this is already the third flight of a Russian on a SpaceX ship. The main task is to test equipment for a flight to Mars.
Seven expeditions are planned within the framework of the joint program of Roscosmos and NASA. Elon Musk approves of this decision.
Russians are sent to the ISS on American ships, and US astronauts are sent on Russian Soyuz MS.
