IBM Launches World's First Intel Gaudi 3 Cloud AI Accelerators
IBM Cloud enterprise customers now have access to new Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerators, enabling companies to deploy generative AI, machine learning, and complex analytics models faster and at lower cost without investing in their own hardware .

IBM is the first cloud provider to offer Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerators to customers, reducing the cost of specialized AI hardware and expanding access to advanced technologies. For Intel, the partnership with IBM Cloud marks the first major commercial deployment of Gaudi 3. Together, the companies help businesses test, develop, and deploy GenAI-based solutions cost-effectively.
According to Gartner , global spending on generative AI will reach $644 billion in 2025, an increase of 76.4% compared to 2024. Researchers note that GenAI will radically change the IT market, becoming an integral part of business processes and consumer technologies. However, the implementation of AI requires huge computing resources, and the high cost of specialized processors often becomes a barrier for companies.
Gaudi 3 accelerators are designed specifically for GenAI tasks: working with large language models, fine-tuning, and multimodal solutions. They support an open development environment, which simplifies integration.
“By bringing Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerators to IBM Cloud, we enable companies to scale generative AI workloads with optimized performance for inference and fine-tuning.”

IBM Cloud is widely used in regulated industries — finance, healthcare, and the public sector. Banks use the cloud to combat fraud and personalize services, while healthcare organizations use it to develop drugs, perform AI-based diagnostics, and conduct telemedicine. Retailers use it for e-commerce and supply chain management. In addition, the IBM cloud allows you to modernize legacy systems without losing control and security.
