Honor unveils headphones with a display and a SIM card slot

Honor unveiled the unique Iotapk AI wireless earbuds, which can function as a standalone device without a smartphone. Their key feature is a built-in touchscreen and SIM card slot. According to ITHome, the screen will allow you to manage calls, view notifications, and interact with the voice assistant. Support for both physical and eSIM cards gives the earbuds full autonomy for calls.

The model is also expected to feature advanced AI call processing and noise cancellation. This isn't Honor's first foray into hybrid devices. The company previously released headphones with a built-in aroma diffuser and a wireless mouse with a built-in speaker. The new development continues this line of unconventional products.

The official presentation of the new product, which the manufacturer calls "an ultra-unconventional solution," will take place on January 5 at 7:30 PM as part of a large-scale announcement of the brand's new devices.
