Hackers Stopped the US Supreme Court: Attackers Not Found

The damage done indicates that the hackers are highly skilled. Their activities affected not only the MyJuryDuty portal and the court website, but also the internal case management systems. The courts had to be closed to restore their operation.

To localize the breach after detecting the attack, LASC disabled all network systems. Affected devices will remain disabled until they are fully restored. Perhaps the developers made mistakes in ensuring the security of the American courts, but until recently no one suspected the problems. Now that the vulnerability has become obvious, there will be an opportunity to strengthen security measures.

So far, no known hacker group has admitted to being behind the attack on the entire Los Angeles Superior Court network.
