Microsoft Unveils Next-Generation Personal AI Companion

Microsoft has introduced Copilot, an adaptive AI assistant that is designed to be more than just a tool, but a personal assistant for every user.

Microsoft Unveils Next-Generation Personal AI Companion

The main difference of the new Copilot is its ability to remember important details: it learns food preferences, favorite movie genres, remembers birthdays of loved ones and even work projects. Thanks to this, the assistant offers truly personalized solutions. At the same time, Microsoft pays special attention to security: the information stored by Copilot can always be controlled. Now Copilot can actually perform tasks: book tickets, tables in restaurants, plan trips and even send gifts through partners.

Copilot Vision uses your smartphone camera to analyze the world around you in real time: it diagnoses plant health, helps with interior design, or sorts out complex documents. This feature is already available in mobile apps and will soon appear on Windows.

Windows Copilot lets you control your computer with your voice, work with files without constantly switching between tabs, and get instant answers based on what’s on your screen. Pages turns chaotic notes into structured documents, and personalized podcasts from Copilot help you digest complex information in a convenient audio format. In the shopping sphere, Copilot finds the best products by comparing prices and reporting great deals. Deep Research technology analyzes huge amounts of data and provides ready-made conclusions. Bing search offers not just links, but detailed answers from verified sources.

"The AI companion is completely personalized, based on individual needs, values, and expectations. That's why there will ultimately be as many different Copilots as there are people using them."

Mustafa Suleiman, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Microsoft AI

Copilot is a fundamentally new stage in the development of AI, where technologies do not simply execute commands, but become personal assistants that adapt to a person’s lifestyle.
