A fully biomimetic intelligent robot has been unveiled in China
Chinese company DroidUp announced the creation of the world's first fully biomimetic robot, Moya. Its key features include a natural gait, maintaining eye contact, and the ability to mimic human microexpressions
A robot named Moya, unveiled by DroidUp in Shanghai, has attracted widespread attention on Chinese social media. Videos demonstrating its capabilities are actively shared online. The robot can walk, maintain eye contact, and reproduce subtle human facial expressions, including smiling and nodding. Its gait also appears very natural.
The developer calls Moya the world's first fully biomimetic intelligent robot. It is based on the concept of embodied artificial intelligence—that is, a system capable of perceiving, analyzing, and acting in the physical world, not just in the digital environment.
The robot stands 1.65 meters tall and weighs approximately 32 kilograms, which is close to the proportions of an adult human. To enhance realism, its body temperature is maintained between 32 and 36 degrees Celsius. Moya's gait accuracy is claimed to be 92%, which, according to the company, ensures stable and natural locomotion. These characteristics make Moya one of the most humanoid robots in development today.
